Traditional bespoke solid wood hand-painted country kitchen handcrafted in White Oak, Hard Maple and Poplar (Tulipwood) for a new build coastal property - one of two commissioned kitchens.
Enniscrone, County Sligo, Ireland
The kitchen has a handmade in-frame construction with rounded pillars for a softer look, moulded cornices, flush fitted flat panel stopped bead solid wood doors mounted on brass butt hinges and secret magnet inlaid door catches.
The solid White Oak dovetailed drawer boxes open on secret soft-close runners and have porcelain detail drop handles and knobs. The wall presses and double larder with integrated door-on-door fridge freezer have plate glass glazed panels and built-in lighting. The double larder also features bespoke itemised drawers, spice racks and custom wine rack.
The work surfaces are Shivakashi Red granite with a moulded edge and a ceramic tile splashback, above a double Belfast ceramic sink with grooved drainer.
The canopy is custom designed to fit around the existing chimney flue with a ceramic tile splashback, moulded cornices and an over-mantel detail to complement the Rayburn range cooker.
The fitted display dresser has a freestanding feel with a curved arch, glazed doors and timber bead detail, stepped out plinth and a White Oak top finished in a spray lacquer polish.
